Shri Shri Saradeswari Ashram and Free Hindu Girls' School
The Noble inspiration and the bliss of The Holy Mother, Sri Sri Sarada Devi inspired Gaurimata to create this Ashram for the welfare of women. The women of the then India had blindly been stumbled towards dense darkness.
Swami Vivekananda was also an admirer of Gaurima's initial venture by stating the same as a 'hermitage'. Swami Vivekananda wrote (Letter from England-1896), "There is no chance for the welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved. It is not possible for a bird to fly on only one wing. Hence, in the Ramakrishna incarnation, the acceptance of woman as the Guru, hence his practicing in the women's garb and attitude, hence too his preaching the Motherhood of women as the representations of the Divine Mother". The lineage of sannyasinis and the multitude of students that have been blessed by the formation of this Spiritual sanctuary and girls school that shall be the focus of this web site.
