In the heart of Shyambazar in Kolkata, the spiritual haven, Sardeswari Ashram stands. The present building was completed in 1924, the Ashram was established in 1895 by Gaurimata at Barrakpore, 24 Parganas.

Activities

The ideals of the Ashram are purely spiritual and humanitarian and it has no connection with politics. It Activities are limited to:

Alleviate human sufferings.
Spiritual development of the people by spreading the teaching of Lord Ramakrishna Paramahansa and Universal Mother Sarada Devi.
To make all possible efforts for proper education of girls.
To nurse and serve sick and needy people through Charitable dispensary (Medical Cell).
